Vessel Chartering

We temporarily hire a vessel- usually Pure Car Carrier (PCC), Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) and Roll-on Roll-off (RORO)- to meet your shipping needs. Vessel Chartering is a deliberated approach that enhances flexibility, efficiency and risk management in maritime operations. This approach has enabled us to efficiently use our resources and respond effectively to market dynamics while keeping up with high standards of service in cargo transportation.

Vessel Operations

Vessel operations encompass the management and execution of all processes related to the operation of the vessel. This involves a range of tasks and responsibilities that ensure the safe, efficient and timely delivery of cargo using the maritime route.

Our Past Charters

MV. Suzuka Express

In 2019, RVC Line made a significant expansion into the car carrier business by chartering the Suzuka Express for operations between India and the Persian Gulf. This strategic move enabled us to transport a wide range of vehicles including trucks, buses, and passenger cars. This venture marked a pivotal milestone as it represented RVC Line’s inaugural entry into the car carrier sector, leveraging our expertise in maritime logistics to efficiently serve the automotive industry’s transportation needs.

MV. NOCC Oceanic

The year 2020 presented unprecedented challenges with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these obstacles, we successfully navigated through the complexities and achieved significant milestones by expanding our operations into the Far East, specifically transporting cars to the Mediterranean region. This expansion was facilitated by our operational deployment of the NOCC Oceanic, which operated seamlessly from Korea to the Mediterranean. This strategic initiative not only strengthened our foothold in the international market but also underscored our commitment to enhancing global connectivity and meeting the evolving transportation needs of our clients.

MV. Monza Express

In 2021, our company made a tactical decision to transition from short-term charters to entering into one-year charters. This pivotal decision included the chartering of the Monza Express, which enabled us to establish and operate new shipping routes connecting the Far East with South America. This bold move not only extended our operational presence but also marked a substantial expansion of our geographical footprint in the maritime industry. By committing to longer-term charters, we aimed to enhance service reliability, strengthen client relationships, and further solidify our position as a key player in the global shipping and logistics sector.

MV. Grande Sicilia

In 2022, we embarked on significant advancements in our maritime operations. We chartered the Grande Sicilia, a vessel upgrade that increased our shipping capacity from 3,600 TEUs to 4,600 TEUs. This enhancement enabled us to handle larger volumes of cargo with greater efficiency and scale. Concurrently, we restructured our shipping routes, redirecting our focus from South America to Central America. This strategic pivot allowed us to optimise our service network and better meet the evolving demands of regional markets. Additionally, we introduced new shipping routes originating from Thailand, further expanding our reach into Central America. These initiatives underscored our commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth in the global logistics landscape.

In 2023, we took decisive steps to strengthen and expand our maritime operations by extending the charter of the Grande Sicilia. This strategic move was instrumental in maintaining continuity and enhancing our service capabilities. With the extended charter, we sustained reliable transportation services from the Far East to both Central America and Canada, catering to diverse market demands efficiently.

The Grande Sicilia’s increased capacity played a pivotal role in our operational success, allowing us to handle larger volumes of cargo effectively. Moreover, our strategic routing adjustments further optimised logistics operations, ensuring prompt and dependable delivery of goods. These initiatives not only reaffirmed our commitment to client satisfaction but also bolstered our competitive edge in key markets.

By leveraging the enhanced capabilities of the Grande Sicilia and adapting our routes to meet evolving trade patterns, we reinforced our presence and expanded our footprint in Central American and Canadian markets. This strategic expansion underscores our ongoing dedication to operational excellence and sustainable growth in the global shipping industry.
